I'm also facing the same problem.

Firefox hangs when any I click on any popup link. I selected/deselected
the popup-blocker option from firefox preferences.. but does not work.
Everytime I click on a popup link, the firefox window becomes gray
(signaling inactive) and i've to kill and restart firefox.

please let know what information is needed to debug the problem.
