I would like to add another point which I missed - when I open a new
Firefox window, the firebug shows "1 Error" for the empty window. The
error is as follows..

[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]" nsresult: 'nsSessionStore.js(line 2025) "0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)" location: "JS frame :: file:///usr/lib/firefox/components/nsSessionStore.js :: sss_writeFile :: line 2025" data: no]
[Break on this error] createInstance(Ci.nsIFileOutputStream);
