[Bug 98978] segfault at startup (if not root)

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

After two weeks I had been using Thunderbird, it started crashing at startup.
The output is:

alessio at Matiz:~$ mozilla-thunderbird 
DOUBLE-CLICK: 400 --> -1 THRESHOLD: 8 --> -1 Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I tried opening Thunderbird as superuser and it worked fine...
