[Bug 96672] spamato extension does not start

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

since 2 days the Spamato extension does not start when Thunderbird is
started.

this is running under Feisty with current upgrades, and both java 5 and 6 installed. 
Spamato is instructed to find java at /usr/bin/java
