[Bug 96438] Thunderbird crash when installing French dictionary (extension)

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Open the extension window, select <install>.  When the "open file"
dialog appear, enter "http://downloads.mozdev.org/dictionaries/spell-fr-
FR.xpi" as the filename.  Press <Open>.  Then Thunderbird runs for a
minute before crashing.
