[Bug 94293] (Feisty) Firefox requires manual JRE install

Public bug reported:

In Feisty, I think Firefox was supposed to do a really good job of
helping you identify and install plugins that were needed for a given
web page.

But a page that requires the JRE (for applets, I assume) such as http://apcmag.com/ gives me the following experience:
1. I go to the page

2. I get the little notification bar near the top of Firefox's window
saying that additional plugins are required to play all of the media on
the page. There's an "Install Missing Plugins..." button on the right
side of that bar.

3. I click the bar, and up comes a window showing what plugins are
available. It lists "Java Runtime Environment", with a check-mark in
that element's check box.

4. I click on "Next", and that window tells me that no plugins were
installed. It gives me a button for manual installation of the plugin.

Now that Java has been open-sourced, isn't installing the JRE plugin
supposed to be seamless?

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
