I also have Dapper Drake 6.06 Long Term Support installed.  The Firefox
update of March 1st does appear to be the culprit that caused major
Evolution breakage in our ranks.

I get the same error as the original poster and the workaround does fix
the problem.  Though it is ugly.

Does anyone know how to wrap the workaround up in such away that it can
be accessed from an icon or menu click?
