I don't understand well what you are asking me to do... Opacity is
effectively only managed by composite managers (i.e. Beryl or Compiz),
so I cannot test such a thing with Metacity, and I don't know what else
I could test with it...

I don't think it is a Beryl issue as only Firefox is affected (however I
didn't test with Thunderbird). Perhaps is this a firefox-gnome-support
bug ?
