I cannot reproduce the described behavior, that page loads normally for
me.

When you did the retrace, did you have already installed the firefox-dbg
package? Your gdb log file doesn't provide useful info.

Please, check that there is a firefox crash report at /var/crash. If so,
please follow the steps at [1] or upload the full report to [2].

Also, indicate which plugins/extensions do you have installed.
