Regarding John Vivirito's comment #17, I can still reproduce it in
Feisty. I haven't got a Gutsy installation to test it.

Apparently someone has created a patch for this. It is available at
http://cgwalters.livejournal.com/4062.html. It might be worth having a
look at it. The blog entry is quite interesting. It mentions
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=223492, the upstream bug
that seems to be causing this.
