Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
"Trust junk mail headers set by: SpamAssassin" does not work with
1.5.0.12-0ubuntu0.7.04. Mails containing "X-Spam-Flag: YES" are neither
marked as Junk nor moved to the folder set in "Junk Mail Controls"
(normally the "Junk" folder).
The file responsible for the filtering is /usr/lib/mozilla-thunderbird/defaults/messenger/SpamAssassin.sfd. This file isn't different from the file used in Thunderbird 2.0.0.4.
However, a custom "Message Filter" for Local Folders with the same condition works:
version="8"
logging="yes"
name="X-Spam-Flag"
enabled="yes"
type="1"
action="JunkScore"
actionValue="100"
action="Move to folder"
actionValue="mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/Trash"
condition="OR (\"X-Spam-Flag\",begins with,YES)"
