[Bug 88767] Program crashes on none existance of folder

I have been having a problem with Edgy for a while with programs just crashing for no particular reason. The main is Firefox now-and-then crashing and this last time I noticed that it crashed when the folder it goes to when I click to save an image doesn't exist.
There has also been a problem with Rythembox a bit with it just crashing and my music folder is on the same hard drive and doesn't change.
Excuse me if this isn't worthy of a bug report, I just thought I would put one through.
