Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

"Firefox is a redesign of the Mozilla browser component, similar to
 Galeon, K-Meleon and Camino, but written using the XUL user interface
 language and designed to be lightweight and cross-platform.
 .
 This browser was previously known as Firebird and Phoenix."

This description is woeful.
* Firefox is not "a redesign of the Mozilla browser component", it is a Web browser produced by Mozilla. (This sentence was apparently written before 2003, back in the days when "Mozilla" meant "the Mozilla suite".)
* Yucky linebreaks.
* Using Galeon or K-Meleon as examples to explain what Firefox is doesn't make sense, since (with all due respect to their developers and users) few people have ever heard of Galeon or K-Meleon.
* "Written using the XUL interface language" is (at least in theory) an irrelevant implementation detail.
* "Lightweight" is accurate only in comparison with the Mozilla suite, which again, was relevant only before 2003.
* Stray dot.

Suggested replacement:
"Firefox is the famous Web browser from Mozilla, featuring support for Web feeds, a built-in popup blocker, and advanced tabbed browsing."

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
