I am also having problems using the procedures for when the process is
already running. I am trying to get the PID:

rmaurice at ubuntu:~$ pidof firefox
rmaurice at ubuntu:~$ pidof firefox
rmaurice at ubuntu:~$ pidof firefox %u
rmaurice at ubuntu:~$ pidof

I would assume the <program> would be firefox or firefox %u
or /usr/bin/firefox

?????
