It is Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Ubuntu 6.10.
It does not bug me badly since normal browsing is fine - but kudos on the snappy response!

I suspect since I am running on a flaky installation (with dbus issues) and on a 'Safe Gnome' session, I am probably the cause!
I do not have another user set up so have not tried another profile.
I only use this computer for BOINCing - so I am happy to apply any changes you suggest (or forward any info needed.

I am not a PC newbie but I am a Linux novice - tell me what you need and
I will do my best.


It happened twice in a row (and I have not installed any since).
