Under Ubuntu 6.10  Thunderbird 1.5.0.9 the Ctrl-Z option seems to be
masked.  I have to use "Edit->Undo Delete" from the menu.

I couldn't add a bug, rather I entered a support request about the
matter here on launchpad.
