Core system.

Page being opened was http://www.thestar.com/sciencetech/article/183137  

A further open tab was http://www.stuff.co.nz/

The Firefox window suddenly vanished.  No premonitory signs.

My automated bug reporting system is asking me to attach /var/crash
/_usr_lib_firefox_firefox-bin.1000.crash
