Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
This was found by chance since I entered a wrong character. Ubuntu Edgy,
Thunderbird 1.5.0.9 (edgy original package).
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new folder in any of your accounts. Use a ? in the name
- Move or copy any message in it (or set a filter for incoming mail, as I did)
- try reading anything. If the ? is at the beginning of the name, Thunderbird will fail silently (messages wil look blank), if it's in the middle or in the end, it will fail with an error.
Renaming the folder solves the problem even though there're messages
already inside the folder, so I think it's a reading problem which might
be present even in the official build (don't think it's strictly ubuntu-
related).
** Affects: mozilla-thunderbird (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
