before we can actually start to process we need to find out which
component or javascript function causes these slowdowns.

If you want to speed things up, please provide us that info. Without
that info I cannot even confirm the upstream bug (which is currently
still unconfirmed)as this might as well be due to a bug on behalf of the
site authors.
