Just posting to let you know that this is not an Ubuntu bug.
This happens to me as well while running Windows XP Tablet.
Also, this seems to happen with no extensions at all installed.
Just tested it on my friends computer, he also has XP installed and has this issue.
FF version for me is 2.0.0.11
Another friend of mine is running 2.0.0.11 with Vista Ultimate and he doesn't have this issue.
On my other computer I'm running 2.0.0.11 with Windows 2000 Pro, this issue doesn't exist there either.

Appears to be 2.0.0.11 in XP and Ubuntu.
