I _think_ this is because a new Flash version has just been released.

Purging flashplugin-nonfree, and then installing again reveals this:

---o0o---

Unpacking flashplugin-nonfree (from .../flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.48.0.2+really0ubuntu12_i386.deb) ...
Setting up flashplugin-nonfree (9.0.48.0.2+really0ubuntu12) ...
Downloading...

           => `./install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz'

Download done.
md5sum mismatch install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
The Flash plugin is NOT installed.

---o0o---

Notice the md5sum mismatch, and the note that "The Flash plugin is NOT
installed."

Would this problem be fixed by upgrading the md5sum?

Best regards :o)
