I am using Gutsy and this bug is still there. I tried SpencerVaughn's method. It reduced the crash frequency from around 1/3 to around 1/20. A small step forward I guess. Has anyone tried the new package available at adobe.com (9.0.115.0)? They released it in tar.gz, rpm, and YUM?! Where's the deb?? I'm going to try it (using the rpm and alien) tonight and report back. Here's the url:

Also, why isn't this bug combined with 104470
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-
nonfree/+bug/104470)? It seems like they're the same problem. Also, they
should update it to includ Gutsy as well.
