The ubuntu-motu team is collectively the maintainer of all the packages in
Ubuntu universe.

The asciio package that was shipped in Ubuntu was always copied unchanged
from Debian. It was removed from Ubuntu when it was removed from Debian,
as described at <https://bugs.debian.org/968843>.

It is unlikely that anyone will package this independently for Ubuntu and
commit to maintain it. You could contact the previous Debian maintainer to
see if they are interested in maintaining the new upstream version.
