Aah, sorry to hear that. That's probably because nobody had the time
yet(!?). For now, in case you'd like to migrate to Git, there's
documentation and steps available at
https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-and-Other-Systems-Migrating-to-Git.
It should be trivial to switch to Git. Let me know how it goes if you
give it a shot. :)

Alright, so how about this - we keep a single changelog entry
targeting "kinetic" and then once (and if) you migrate to Git, you can
create separate branches for Focal and Jammy. Note that you'll need to
SRU (cf: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates) them.
Does that make sense?
