Could someone assist with applying my simple patch in 518393?

I was advised to bring up my request on this list:

"Gtinydns id not created, but two other id's created"

I see release after release of Ubuntu, and the bug report is not getting activity.

I even went so far as to supply the needed patch/diff. All that is needed is for a developer to apply the patch.

Suggestions?
