Hello Ubuntu Developers,

First, thanks a lot Luca for all of the time that you put into the MOTU Release
team. You were a big help, and you will be missed.

Now, without Luca, the MOTU Release team only has four members [1]. With Feature
Freeze [2] fast approaching [3], it would be nice to have a full team of five
members. We will be following the MOTU Key Team Policy [4] in order to fill the
opening. If you are an Ubuntu Developer who feels that you would be capable of
managing the packages in universe and multiverse in order to ensure they are in
good condition for the release, coordinating packaging and quality assurance
efforts for a wide range of packages, and serving as a liaison between the MOTU
community and the Ubuntu release managers to coordinate package uploads and new
features throughout the various stages of the release schedule, then please
follow the steps outlined in the Key Team Policy in order to submit your
application.
