VTK Package on Ubuntu

Hi Andrea,
Thanks by you answer. Yes, I have tech reasons to use VTK 5.4:
- I use VTKEdge too ( requires VTK 5.4 )
- I use the new vtkWidget design
and a lot of other improvements. But, of course, I think VTK isn't so
widely used, and I know the conservative policies applied to Debian
packages.
I asked for two reasons:
- Are possible an update, without breaking Debian policies?
- Are someone interested in a ITK package too?
And, of course: can I help? ( for example, creating the ITK package )
Regards,
Wagner Sales
