Icons removed from Buttons and context menus - Patch Applications to show icons

Hi,

From libgnome2-0 version (2.27.5-0ubuntu1) Upstream is setting the
context menus and dialogue buttons icons option to false by default.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=557469
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=583352

Ubuntu doesnt want to change this default setting either.

*Icons will not be displayed in context menu or dialogue windows* ,
Applications now need to use "gtk_image_menu_item_set_always_show_image"
for *essential* icons to be displayed.

Whenever you see a program that has menu items for objects where those
menu items now don't include icons, report a bug on the program that it
should use always-show-icons for those particular items. And conversely,
whenever you see a program with icons on menu items for things that
aren't objects, report a bug that the icons should be removed.

Use a common tag ("menu-icons") for bug reports on this issue, so that
the design team can keep track of the bugs.

Examples of menu items that count as objects, and should therefore have
icons: applications, documents (including any recent documents in a
"File" menu), disks, partitions, folders, bookmarks, history items, IM
accounts, IM statuses, user accounts.

Examples of menu items that don't count as objects, and should therefore
*not* have icons: openable windows (e.g. "Edit" > "Preferences" or "Go"
> "Edit Bookmarks"), toolbars (e.g. "View" > "Toolbars" > anything),
actions (e.g. "Go" > "Back").

Currently reported apps:
gedit > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=590661
totem > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=589808
nautilus > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=590647

P.S.: In future , hope the Design team sends out such *reminders* ,
informing about these system-wide UI changes and reminding the devs to
patch the apps...

P.S.2: sorry for this mass mail , it just a reminder for the devs, since
several are not aware of these changes.
