bug in gmail-notify

Dear Mr. Grande,
dear Mr. Winter,
dear Ubuntu MOTU Developers!

We found a bug in your package "gmail-notify" (version
1.6.1-3ubuntu2.1). The script "notifier.py" doesn't work for all
german users, because in germany it's not allowed to call Google's
mail service "gmail". Please replace all occurences of "gmail." within
URLs with "mail." (by removing the letter "g") when the system locale
is set to German.
