Hi all,
For the March edition of MOTU School I'll be running a
session on FTBFS, particularly focusing on how to start
dealing with one, and places to look for clues.
This is an important task for the upcoming release. Partly
because if an update fails to build then that version will
not be available in Hardy.
The session will take place on 25th March at 20.00 UTC,
in #ubuntu-classroom on irc.ubuntu.com. I anticipate
the session will last approximately 1 hour.
I would appreciate it if an experienced person would
offer to hang around and help me out when I can't answer
a question.
Of course, if anyone wants to take a more active role
in running the session that would be great.
Don't forget that you can request sessions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/School/Requests
or even offer to present one. We're a little low
on offers at the moment, so that would be very much
appreciated.
Thanks,
James
