We have semiregular Q&A sessions on Fridays in #ubuntu-classroom (usually 
around 13:00 UTC) that are a great way to be introduce yourself and clear-up 
your initial questions.

We also recommend new contributors to subscribe to the ubuntu-motu-mentors 
mailing list where you are free to ask any question which you might have about 
packaging and contributing.
