DS9 on Hardy

I haven't had time to check into this yet, but FYI- the SAO's DS9 (from the
synaptic package manager) does not work "right out of the box":

couldn't load file "/usr/lib/tcltk/Img1.3/libpngtcl1.2.6.so":
/usr/lib/tcltk/Img1.3/libpngtcl1.2.6.so: symbol png_read_destroy, version
PNG12_0 not defined in file libpng12.so.0 with link time reference
couldn't load file "/usr/lib/tcltk/Img1.3/libpngtcl1.2.6.so":
/usr/lib/tcltk/Img1.3/libpngtcl1.2.6.so: symbol png_read_destroy, version
