Greetings,
In the predict package, there is a program called predict-g1yyh.
Predict-g1yyh is a modified version of the predict program by G1YYH
(thats me if you hadn't guessed).
The version number of predict-g1yyh is shown as 2.2.3, but there has
never been a 2.2.3 of predict-g1yyh. I started work on version 2.2.1
of the standard predict and just tagged my initials plus a number
onto the end of that. When 2.2.2 came out it was simpler at the time
to add the differences to my version rather than add my changes back
into the standard 2.2.2 base. It would have been nice if my updates
had been merged back into the base 2.2.1 but the author chose not to
do that.
The same thing happened when the author released 2.2.3, so I added
the new stuff from 2.2.3 into my version. The latest version of mine
is 2.2.1jh4, but I have been playing around with a few more ideas in
2.2.1jh6. As my version number is longer than the standard I've
dropped the .1 so the program shows up as 2.2jh.
You can see more about this on my website: http://www.phers.co.uk/
Bye for now, John
