there is a bug with ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy gibbon) amd64 release of ecasound . Was working in 7.04

Hi,

I assume this concerns mainly ubuntu packagers, but I also send it to 
ecasound-list since it probably will be of interest for other x86_64 
users of ecasound.

Something is broken in the gutsy version of ecasound, which was working 
in feisty.

The level analyze option -ev does not work.
