Edgy MPD (v0.12.0-0ubuntu1) seems to be broken

Hi all,

is this package maintained by anyone within Ubuntu, or was it basically just
synced with Debian Unstable until the freeze and now frozen?  I notice that the
maintainer email in the package metadata is this list.

The reason I ask is that in its current state it no longer works properly - the
command 'mpd --create-db' fails, but only on certain files... and I've not yet
worked out what it is about certain files that causes it to fail.
