MOTU Scheduling

Hi MOTUs, MOTU Hopefuls, and lurkers!

To get Edgy's Universe rockin' we need to focus on lots of different
areas: fixing bugs, merging packages, reviewing new contributions,
teaching new people how to package, and others. To do this we generally
try to have focused "Days" as well as the general day-to-day work. We
have Hug Days for bug fixing and triage, REVU Days for cleaning up REVU
and getting great contributions into Universe, and we will soon have
School Days for focusing on MOTU and MOTU Hopeful development. We also
need meetings every once in a while to coordinate efforts and make sure
everybody is on the same page and problems addressed. However, so far
all this activity has been planned and scheduled sort of ad hoc on the
list and many people don't make it or don't know about it.

I think maybe we should create a MOTU Calendar that has our "Days" and
meetings on it so that MOTUs can keep track and people wanting to help
out know when stuff is going on. I guess my proposal would be to make
MOTU/Calendar (which I have taken the liberty to create [0]) and
schedule events on there for everybody to see. The wiki doesn't seem to
be great for calendars though so if people have other suggestions feel
free to shout out. The LP calenders don't seem to be suitable for us and
putting everything on Fridge seems a bit noisy for the rest of the
community to me. The Calendar I put up on the wiki is just and example,
feel free to reformat, add to, etc.

The other thing is having regularly scheduled items so it is predictable
and easier to remember. I suggest we do Hug Days and REVU Days every two
weeks, alternating. I think we should also try to schedule some Merge
Days in before the Universe Freeze.

Suggestions/Comments/Flames? :-)

-Jordan
