Anybody willing to mentor me ?

Hi,

I am struggling to understand the packaging guide but I am trying hard. I
need a mentor to do packaging for ubuntu.

Any one willing to introduce me to how a software works inside ubuntu and
how I should package the raw source from upstream to deb package ??
