Hello question about python 2.6 transition for packages using cdbs

Hello list!

I m updating firmware-tools to the latest upstream version

Now the problem I have is the package uses cdbs and python-support [rules
file attached for your kind info] and needs a transition

What are the steps I require to accomplish the task?
