Updating a package in Ubuntu?

    I recently adopted a package in Debian, ttylog;   it is now in  
Testing & will be available that way when lenny becomes the stable  
Debian release.

    What I wonder about is how to get it updated in Ubuntu.   The  
versions showing for hardy & intrepid are a couple of years old.   I  
presume that the current version (0.1.c-1) will automatically make it  
in to intrepid +1;   is it too late to get it into intrepid?

    Note that I plan to add packages for ttylog to my PPA, at least  
for hardy...
