  MonoDevelop.exe assert failure: double free or corruption (out)

Status in monodevelop package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Trying to start run monodevelop fails when trying to open existing
  solutions and creating a new solution.

  If I try to create a new solution hangs for a while, then a dialog appears saying that it cannot save to:
  /usr/lib/monodevelop/bin/Monodevelop.sln

  When trying to open an existing solution it just crashes, no messages,
  nothing..
