There ist nothing "special" to see in console, only this recurring line:

(...)

(gnome-subtitles:3270): GLib-CRITICAL **: 09:39:40.223: Source ID 65900
was not found when attempting to remove it

(gnome-subtitles:3270): GLib-CRITICAL **: 09:39:40.224: Source ID 65810
was not found when attempting to remove it

(gnome-subtitles:3270): GLib-CRITICAL **: 09:39:40.224: Source ID 65748
was not found when attempting to remove it

(...)

(Time code and Source ID vary)

Title:
System freezes when using v 1.4

Status in gnome-subtitles package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I'm using Gnome Subtitles 1.4 from the official PPA, running Ubuntu
  18.04.

When I start working with it, a few minutes later it freezes my whole
system. It unfreezes a few seconds later, but freezes again and again
for longer periods. To me, it looks like a memory leak (but I'm a
  noob).

On Gnome Subtitles 1.3, everything was fine, no freezing at all.

Do you need any log files to work on this bug?
