I've been getting this crash as well (in 17.04). I don't know if it adds
any useful information, but I've attached another log from: banshee
--debug --show-import-media 2>&1 | tee /tmp/20172334-banshee.log

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  After upgrading to Ubuntu 17.04 my banshee works as expected but crashes on importing new files.
  All extensions have been disabled, no change. A clean run on a new user behaves the same. Console output attached.
