As workaround to take back control of banshee without reinstalling it

$ sed -i 's/Addin id="Banshee.LibraryWatcher,1.0" enabled="True"/Addin
id="Banshee.LibraryWatcher,1.0" enabled="False"/g'
$HOME/.config/banshee-1/addin-db-001/config.xml

  The extension Library Watcher causes Banshee to stall and do nothing
  even when closed and ran again. To reproduce this bug go to
  Preferences in the Edit menu and there in the Extensions tab click the
  checkmark for Library Watcher.
