This attachment doesn't seem to be a patch, rather a zip file of the
trusty branch of openbve. As such I am unsubscribing the ubuntu-
sponsors team.

Title:
"Could not connect to server" displayed when the HTTP_PROXY
  environment variable is set

Status in openbve package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After upgrading to the precise version, when viewing the "Get Add-ons"
screen in the main menu, it says "Could not connect to server".
However tcpdump doesn't show any attempt to make any outgoing
  connections that I can see.

It doesn't seem to like my http_proxy for some reason. If I unset
  http_proxy, then it works.

  brian at andean:~$ echo $http_proxy
  http://proxy.pri:3128/

The proxy works fine for other programs.
