As a heavy Ubuntu user, I'd love to see this feature.

As a workaround, create a wrapper script around rdesktop that performs
automatic disk sharing.

An example is attached.

It works for me, but performance is abysmal - too poor to actually make
this usable.

Perhaps this can be improved by modifying the wrapper.

Title:
  Disk Access for RDP

Status in gnome-rdp package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-rdp

I added rough support for sharing the local disk with the remote
machine for RDP sessions. I have been copying files recently between
machines, so this is a hot item for me. This works, but I am not sure
if I should tweak it more to make it more robust.

Currently, I added three options to the RDP Profile dialog for Disk
Access: None, Root, and Home Directory. I thought about putting a
custom path, or maybe something like the drop down in Gnome's Print to
File dialog, but I didn't go that far.

Please let me know how I can help to make this good enough for
  including in your version.

  Thanks,

  Stephen
