I see 'pthread_mutex_unlock' is reference as part of the problem in the
log from the latest crash, so I'm posting the log file anyway.  I'm not
sure that this is the exact error, but Banshee crashes quite regularly
here!

I'm not a developer, so I won't be able to dig into the log to determine
if this is relevant, please advise.
