Googling around i've found a post, and run:

  MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug banshee

banshee hang on:

 Mono: DllImport attempting to load: 'libMonoPosixHelper.so'.
 Mono: DllImport loading library: '/usr/lib/mono/gac/Mono.Posix/4.0.0.0__0738eb9f132ed756/libMonoPosixHelper.so'.
 Mono: DllImport error loading library '/usr/lib/mono/gac/Mono.Posix/4.0.0.0__0738eb9f132ed756/libMonoPosixHelper.so: impossibile aprire il file oggetto condiviso: File o directory non esistente'.
 Mono: DllImport loading library: '/usr/lib/mono/gac/Mono.Posix/4.0.0.0__0738eb9f132ed756/libMonoPosixHelper.so'.

I've found that '/usr/lib/libMonoPosixHelper.so' belong to package
'mono-runtime', then i've tried to reinstall it with:

 sudo apt-get install --reinstall mono-runtime

but still banshee hang.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Bug description:
  Suddenly banshee hangs on my fixed pc, for every user (also the guest
  one).

  If i run within terminal, i get:
