Title:
Beagle allows setting hot-key to Xorg go to VT binding <alt><ctrl>F12

Status in “beagle” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When I push Ctrl-Alt-F12 to activate Beagle, it pops me over to VT 12.
I really want beagle to be bound to <super><control>F12 or something.

There ought to be a global key-bindings registry so that all the
applications can check for conflicts. It's annoying that Gnome uses
Alt by default, since it's the same key as Meta now, and I need that
in Emacs and on the command line.

The keybinding editor won't take <Super> as a keystroke; I have to
  enter it with gconf-editor.
