Title:
  Spell Check should ignore acronyms

Status in Tomboy:
  Unknown
Status in “tomboy” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: tomboy

The spell checker in Tomboy should ignore ALL UPPERCASE words, since
these are typically acronyms, and will likely not be present in the
dictionary. So many red squiggly underlines in notes on technical
  subjects is very distracting.

  Tomboy 1.0.0-0ubuntu2

  Ubuntu 9.10, 32 bit, up-to-date.
