One workaround which worked well for me is to edit /desktop/gnome/url-
handlers/http entry in gconf-editor, and replace "%u" by "%s".

Title:
Tasque passes bad url to connect to Remember the Milk
Status in “tasque” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: tasque
When I start Tasque for the first time and choose the "Remember the
Milk" backend, it needs to authorize the connection. Firefox reports
that it is attempting to pass "www.%u.com" as the URL for connection.
(There seems to be no "preferences" dialog in the current version, so
I'm unable to try switching from "Local File" to "Remember the Milk"
later.)
